Safety

Trust is the first feature.

Meaningful connection needs room to grow—and clear boundaries that protect it. slavic.love combines member controls, private media, reporting, blocking, and human moderation. No system can remove every risk, so use the guidance below alongside your own judgment.

What slavic.love provides

  • Adults-only registration and email-verification controls.
  • Profile and photo moderation when enabled by the operator.
  • Messaging only after a mutual match, subject to access settings.
  • Private, short-lived links for profile-photo delivery.
  • Controls to hide your profile, block a member, and report conduct.
  • Staff tools for investigation, account restriction, and audit history.

A verification badge or completed review is not a guarantee of a person's identity, intentions, background, or future behaviour. Treat verification as one signal, never as a reason to ignore warning signs.

Keep money and documents separate from romance

Never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, banking credentials, one-time security codes, passport copies, or immigration documents to someone you met through the service. slavic.love staff will never ask for your password or security code.

Pause and report the conversation if someone:

  • asks for emergency, travel, visa, medical, customs, or investment money;
  • pushes you to move immediately to another messaging service;
  • avoids live video or repeatedly changes personal details;
  • pressures you with secrecy, urgency, guilt, or threats;
  • offers investments, jobs, prizes, parcel delivery, or financial transfers; or
  • asks you to receive, move, or hold money or goods for them.

In Australia, suspected financial scams can also be reported to Scamwatch.

Meet at your pace

  • Stay on-platform while trust is developing so reporting context remains available.
  • Use a live video call before meeting, while remembering video is not proof of identity.
  • Tell a trusted person where you are going and when you expect to return.
  • Meet in a busy public place and arrange your own transport in both directions.
  • Keep control of your phone, identification, drinks, accommodation, and return travel.
  • Leave immediately if you feel pressured or unsafe. You never owe anyone continued contact.

For international travel, independently check visas, local laws, insurance, accommodation, and government travel advice. Do not let a match act as your only source of information or hold your documents.

Intimate images and sextortion

Do not share an intimate image unless you freely choose to and accept that any digital image can be copied. Sharing or threatening to share an intimate image without consent is prohibited and may be unlawful. Never create, request, possess, or share sexual content involving a person under 18.

If someone threatens you, do not pay. Preserve evidence, stop contact, block and report the account, and contact the appropriate authority. Australians can seek help for image-based abuse or adult cyber abuse from the eSafety Commissioner.

Report early. Block freely.

Use the report control when you encounter harassment, threats, scams, impersonation, suspected underage use, inappropriate content, or any conduct that may put someone at risk. Reports are not shown to the reported member. Relevant profile, account, match, and message context may be reviewed by authorised staff.

Blocking closes the match, removes it from both members' match lists, and prevents further messaging through that conversation. We may warn, restrict, suspend, or ban accounts and may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary for safety or required by law. We do not promise a particular outcome or response time.

If danger is immediate

Contact local emergency services first. In Australia, call 000. Platform reports are not monitored as an emergency channel. For a non-urgent platform concern, use the in-product report control or email support@slavic.love.
