These Terms govern your use of slavic.love. They are written to set clear, fair expectations for an international dating community. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.
Effective date: 29 September 2026
Service provider: slavic.love, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
you are at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement;
dating services are lawful for you to use where you live;
you have not been prohibited from the service for safety or legal reasons, unless we expressly approve your return; and
the information you provide is accurate, current, and genuinely yours.
You may maintain one personal account unless we approve otherwise. Keep your password confidential, use a valid email address, and tell us promptly about unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity on your account until you notify us or revoke the affected session. Account type controls access and pricing; it is not proof of ethnicity, nationality, culture, or identity.
2. What slavic.love provides
The service helps adults create profiles, discover potentially compatible people, express interest, form mutual matches, communicate, and use reporting and blocking tools. Compatibility scores are automated suggestions based on selected profile and preference information. They are not professional advice, background checks, or predictions of a relationship's quality or safety.
We do not guarantee matches, replies, identity, intentions, availability, relationship outcomes, immigration outcomes, or that every member has passed a background check. Features can differ by account type, subscription, location, moderation state, and platform configuration.
3. Member conduct
You must not use the service to:
impersonate, mislead, catfish, or create a profile for someone else;
harass, threaten, stalk, shame, discriminate against, or coerce anyone;
solicit money, gifts, investments, financial transfers, immigration sponsorship, sex work, or commercial services;
send spam, promote another service, recruit, scrape, data-mine, or automate interactions;
upload content you do not own or have permission to use;
share another person's private information or intimate images without consent;
create, request, possess, or distribute sexual content involving anyone under 18;
promote exploitation, trafficking, terrorism, violence, self-harm, hate, or other unlawful activity;
evade a block, suspension, ban, access control, rate limit, or security measure;
introduce malware, probe vulnerabilities without written authorisation, or disrupt the service; or
use information obtained through slavic.love for surveillance, eligibility decisions, or purposes unrelated to personal connection.
You retain ownership of profile text, photos, and messages you submit. You give slavic.love a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize, process, display, and transmit that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate, and improve the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for restricted backups and records lawfully retained for safety, legal, or dispute purposes.
You promise that you have the rights and permissions needed for your content and that it complies with these Terms. Do not upload another person's image without permission. We may refuse, remove, restrict, or preserve content when reasonably necessary for moderation, safety, service operation, or legal compliance.
5. Safety, reports, and moderation
Use the report and block controls when something feels wrong. Reports may include relevant account, profile, match, and message context and may be reviewed by authorised staff. We may investigate, limit visibility, remove content, revoke sessions, restrict features, suspend, or ban an account. We may also preserve evidence or refer matters to authorities where required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent serious harm.
We aim to make proportionate decisions but cannot monitor every interaction or guarantee that every report is accurate. Except where law requires otherwise, moderation decisions, internal risk methods, and actions taken against another member may remain confidential. Read the Safety Guide before meeting or travelling.
6. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Free, Premium, and VIP access may be offered. Slavic-member core access may be free under the current plan rules. When paid subscriptions are enabled, the checkout page will show the price, currency, billing period, included features, and any trial before you confirm purchase.
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew automatically for the period disclosed at checkout until cancelled. You authorise Stripe to charge the selected payment method. You can manage or cancel through the billing portal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless checkout terms or applicable law say otherwise. Deleting the app or ceasing use does not itself cancel a subscription.
Taxes and the total minimum commitment, if any, will be disclosed before purchase. Refunds are provided where required by law and may otherwise be considered under the checkout terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes the consumer guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may change future prices or plan features with reasonable advance notice. A price increase will not apply before the next renewal period shown in that notice, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
7. Ending or restricting an account
You may stop using the service, hide your profile, or delete your account at any time. Cancel a paid subscription separately through the billing portal before deleting your account.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe you breached these Terms, created risk or harm, used the service unlawfully, failed to pay, or when action is necessary to protect the service or others. Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide notice or a reason. Immediate action may be necessary for urgent safety, security, fraud, or legal concerns.
Terms that logically continue—such as ownership, retained-record, payment, dispute, and liability provisions—survive account closure.
8. Service availability and responsibility
We use reasonable care and skill in operating slavic.love. Maintenance, outages, security events, provider failures, or legal requirements may interrupt features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, slavic.love is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for another member's independent conduct outside our reasonable control. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or non-excludable consumer guarantees.
You remain responsible for your interactions, travel, financial choices, and compliance with local law. Nothing in these Terms requires you to indemnify slavic.love for loss caused by our own breach, negligence, or unlawful conduct.
9. Third-party services and intellectual property
Stripe and other service providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies to services they directly provide. slavic.love does not control external sites linked by members or public resources.
The slavic.love name, interface, software, designs, and platform content are owned by or licensed to the service provider. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer platform intellectual property to you.
10. Governing law and disputes
Contact support@slavic.love first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in Queensland may hear disputes, but this does not prevent you from using mandatory consumer protections or courts available to you under the law where you live.
If one provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without our consent; we may transfer the service agreement as part of a legitimate business reorganisation or sale with appropriate notice and without reducing your mandatory rights.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes. We will publish the revised Terms and effective date. For a material change, we will provide reasonable advance notice and, where required, ask you to accept it. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service and close your account before the change takes effect.
